You can now create your own Collections of recipes!
Organise your saved recipes however you like; try cataloguing by meal type such as “Midweek Dinners,” plan a party for “Dave’s Birthday Feast” or even organise “Next Week’s Meal Plan.”
Recipes can be saved in multiple collections for full creative freedom. This means you can organise your recipes in whatever way makes sense for you.
Oh, and recipes you’ve already saved can be found in your default “Favourites” collection.

A big change in how we add recipes to the app. Now, when you’re searching for recipes or browsing through our curated collections, you’ll see results from the web appear as well. When you see one you like, tap on it to be brought to the recipe site for detailed info. For clear, guided instructions and to save it to your profile, convert it to Drop’s format by tapping ‘Make With Drop’. Enjoy all our usual benefits AND no ads, pop-ups or long stories to scroll through.

- Sparkle, sparkle, highlighted steps are here! Now, as you work your way through a tasty recipe, the step you’re on will be highlighted. Never lose your place again, just stick to your highlighted steps and you can’t go wrong.
- When you’re finished with a step, move onwards and upwards by marking it as “done” by tapping it and moving on to the next step. You really nailed adding the butter just now, you deserve a gold star.
- Steps are now numbered, so you’ll always know exactly how many you have left to do.
Bug Fixes:
- Owners of LG and GE Appliance Ovens will be happy to hear the bug that was causing their app to crash has been vanquished.

- Drop as you know it, but better. Personalize your feed using new “Interests”, which you can find by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Recipe section. See more of the recipes you love, and declutter the things you don’t. It’s very Marie Kondo of us.
- Pull to refresh! We’re always releasing new collections and content, and now you can see what’s new by swiping down the Recipes section to refresh it.
- Recipes now have appliance badges, so you can tell at a glance what recipes you can make with your Instant Pot, Thermomix, or what have you.
- Favorites have changed a little. You’ll see a heart icon in the top right corner of the recipes now, showing how many times it’s been Favorited so far. Tap this to add it to your Favorites collection, and spread the love.
Bug Fixes
- Authors and comment sections were not visible there for a hot second, but we’ve taken care of that now.
- A few behind the scenes fixes that were needed for the app to run smoothly were polished off as well.
